A dark-eyed junco, our harbinger of winter, is hand-painted among leaves and berries on this wood slice Christmas ornament.  This painting was inspired by one of my nature photography images.  The back of the ornament features a starry night with a silhouette of a tree with birds perched on a limb.  Not only would this look great on your Christmas tree, but it would also be a wonderful stocking stuffer or secret Santa gift!

  • The ornament in the product picture is the one you will receive
  • Wood type - pine
  • Ornament size - approximately 3 1/4 inches in height, 3 1/2 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick
  • I use acrylic paint, and seal the ornament with polycrylic to preserve the integrity of the paint and wood slice.
  • Jute twine is threaded through the ornament for hanging
