A pileated woodpecker, the largest woodpecker in North America, is hand-painted on this wood slice ornament.  Handmade wood slice ornaments are a beautiful addition to a Christmas tree, and are a great gift for friends or family at any time of the year!  The back of this ornament is an evergreen tree in the snow against the natural wood grain of the wood slice.

  • The ornament in the product picture is the one you will receive
  • Wood type - pine
  • Ornament size - approximately 3 1/2 inches in height, 3 1/2 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick
  • I paint with acrylics and seal the ornament with polycrylic to enhance color and wood gran, prevent cracking, and prevent paint from chipping.
  • Jute twine is threaded through the ornament for hanging
