I created this belted kingfisher ornament especially for bird lovers!  The kingfisher is hand-painted on a wood slice, and the back of the ornament has a hand-painted night sky with the silhouette of a kingfisher perched in a tree.  This handmade ornament would be a great addition to your Christmas tree, to hang on a large houseplant, or for gifting a birdwatcher or nature enthusiast.

  • The ornament in the product picture is the one you will receive
  • Ornament size - approximately 3 1/4 inches in height, 3 1/4 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick
  • I use acrylics for painting  
  • The ornament is sealed a water-based polycrylic to prevent the wood slice from cracking and the paint from chipping
  • Jute twine is threaded through the ornament for hanging
