A male rose-breasted grosbeak perched on a cedar limb is hand-painted on this wood slice Christmas ornament.  I always look forward to these migratory birds passing through in the fall and spring.  The back of the ornament is hand-painted, as well, with a silouhette of birds in a tree with a starry night as background.  This would be a great nature theme addition to your holiday decorations, or would also be a wonderful gift for a friend or family member!

  • Ornament size - approximately 3 1/2 inches in height, 3 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick
  • I hand-paint with acrylics seal the ornament with a light coat of polycrylic to prevent the wood slice from cracking and the paint from chipping. 
  • Jute twine is threaded through the ornament for hanging
