A great ornament for bird lovers - a Carolina chickadee hand-painted on a wood slice! The back of this ornament is also hand-painted with a starry night sky and tree and bird silhouettes. This ornament could be added to your tree, or given as a gift at any time of the year!
This chickadee ornament is approximately 3 1/2 inches in height, 3 1/4 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick. An ornament of this size is appropriate for a range of tree sizes! I paint with acrylics, and seal the ornament with a light coat of polycrylic to ensure the ornament lasts for many, many years. Jute twine has been added, so the ornament is ready for hanging!
